RÖHM AWARDED ECOVADIS SILVER LABEL

EcoVadis evaluates companies’ environmental and social practices. Their ratings cover a wide range of non-financial management systems. The associated evaluation process was part of the Röhm Group's sustainability strategy – a strategy that is being worked on intensively at present.

A comprehensive assessment was a prerequisite for the label award. Numerous functional areas were required to answer questions about the impact of business and procurement activities on the environment, labor and human rights, as well as ethical dimensions, and to provide appropriate documentation to demonstrate said impact. The result of the rating is published on the EcoVadis website and all customers are able to access it at any time.

“After just one year as an independent company, this is a great achievement for us and sends an important signal to our customers, suppliers and the general public,” says Hans-Peter Hauck, Chief Operation Officer at Röhm. “We will continue to develop these EcoVadis-certified strengths.
