With immediate effect, Röhm GmbH is lifting its Sales Control for MERACRYL® products in the European region effective October 21, 2021, which was initially put in place January 07, 2021.

Due to soaring natural gas and ammonia prices, Röhm GmbH announces a price increase for MERACRYL® MMA (methyl methacrylate) and other methacrylate monomer products in Europe with immediate effect.

On Sunday, September 19th, the Westwego, Louisiana, U.S. production site initiated start-up of MMA production again. At this time, we are producing MMA at minimum rates.

On the day, 16 years after hurricane Katrina, hurricane Ida rolled into the Louisiana area on August 29, impacting our Fortier production site. As a precautionary measure (and in accordance with hurricane preparedness and safety procedures) Fortier was shut down in advance of this powerful hurricane.
